Zak would like to thank Jennifer and all the loving staff who cared for
him and found him a wonderful home this May 31, 2008.

Update January '09 ...

Zak would like to say Hi to Annie.  He is so glad Annie has a great home too and doesn't want her to worry about him.  Both Zak and Annie were adopted on the same lucky day.  Zak's parents visited with Annie first and much to Zak's delight, they decided on him
mainly due to his most insightful eyes, handsome stature, gentle
temperament and persuasive charm.

Zak enjoys the great outdoors and loves the cold winter weather most of all.  His summertime was filled with visits to the neighbours and meeting the neighbourhood dogs, boating, long country walks and lazy days at the beach.  Zak has webbed feet that he uses mainly for snowshoeing rather than swimming.  He walks in the water but definitely prefers bounding in the snow.

Zak shares his home with Ernie the cat.  Zak and Ernie are company for each other on rainy days and periodically they are seen making brief attempts at play, so far so good!
