Nukka was adopted by Helen in June 2007 and is now two years old.  He graduated from doggie school where he learned how to walk nicely on his lead, sit, stay, and come.  He lives in Russell on 92 acres where he loves to play and chase squirrels and rabbits.  He absolutely loves going for
drives and especially to the cottage where he can be found playing with frogs on the shore of the lake and barking at chipmunks. 

He is simply wonderful - sociable, gentle and obedient, and loves his special treats.  He now has a "new sister", four and half month old Mollie, who came home on December 13.  They are now getting to know each other.

 

Update December '09 ...

Nukka is a gentle, calm soul and very good natured  - except when he sees a squirrel.  He likes curling up for a nap, chewing his bones and black socks.  He allows Mollie to roughhouse play with him but he will not share his treats.  

He enjoys his walks and any attention that he gets.  He is a real beauty and when we walk - he gets the attention - Mollie however gets right in there for a pet if she feels safe.
