Merlin is an amazing collie and golden retriever cross - he's like Air Bud and Lassie combined! Merlin is adjusting well to his new home. He loves his big yard and Invisible Fence that lets him wander around freely, smelling all the smells and capturing sticks. Merlin loves to play...when we play ball, Merlin tears ahead and heads off the ball and then captures it-he'd make an awesome goalie!
Merlin was well trained and knows all his commands, so it has been an easy transition. He is so well-behaved we can leave him in the house when we have to go out and he's fine. The wiggly bum, when we return, is really something to see! Merlin dearly wants to be friends with our cat "Ms Kitty" and she's slowly coming around! At least she no longer hisses every time he sniffs her face...or butt!
We knew that Merlin had been trained to sleep outside the bedroom door so we continued that practice. It was only after about a week that we realized that while he started out sleeping outside our door, he ended up cuddling up on the sofa downstairs!! You can see from the pictures he seems to be a happy boy. We enjoy his spirit and his gentle nature. Merlin has worked his magic on our hearts, and found himself a forever home.
