This is Buddy (his name was Prince at the shelter). He picked us in March 2001 and has forever changed my concepts of having a larger dog.
He is a real mush bug who loves to swim and also guards our bird feeder to keep squirrels out. We have since moved to Eganville, Ontario but love to check your site from time to time to see what's happening at the shelter.
So for anyone that might be afraid to take on a larger dog, I can tell you if you have the room you won't regret it. And thank you to the shelter for keeping Buddy safe till we found him.

& Maureen P.S. On page two there is a dog named Bailey; if that's not Buddy's sister I'll eat my hat. Glad she has found a good home also. If we would have seen her when we got Bud I'm sure we would have been coming home with two pups that day.
